Lindsay Coward, 200hr Yoga Instructor, is a loving Yogi with a passion to bring yoga & wellness to the community: offering workshops & classes in corporate, private, school & virtual settings. She is 200 hour Hatha Yoga certified through Savannah Yoga Center in Savannah, GA and has been teaching since 2011. She have a bachelor's in Psychology and a graduate certificate in Public Health.
As a mom Lindsay understands the benefits of staying present and advocates the importance of caring for our bodies first so that we can care for others. Besides teaching, she enjoys being outside with her husband and son (one on the way), hiking, traveling and supporting local restaurants and shops.
Lindsay’s yoga teaching specialties include beginners, Hatha flow, yin, prenatal/postnatal, breathwork, and meditation. Her passion is to bring yoga to places that are convenient to you: reaching individuals that may not have access to yoga otherwise. Cara McCarthy, RYT-200, MA, began her yoga practice over a decade ago while studying ballet and modern dance at The Ohio State University. She found yoga as vehicle to use intentional breath and movement to experience her body in a new way. She continued a regular practice on her mat, helping her stay grounded as she completed her Masters degree in Counseling at Wake Forest University. Her yoga journey led her to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher training to share her love of yoga with others.
In 2018, Cara left her life in the United States to travel and teach around the world in Australia and Southeast Asia. She returns home to Western NC with a full heart and renewed vision for her teaching and life coaching business. She is currently in her 500-hour teacher training, and is eager to share her passion for intentional, alignment-based movement that brings mental, physical, emotional, and energetic benefits to every body. Cara’s personal practice has carried her through the enormous ups and downs of life, so she appreciates the healing benefits of yoga as much as the physical, and believes coming onto the mat can help us quiet our thoughts enough to hear the intentions of our hearts.
